Refund Policy

The short version
You never buy blind. The editor and the watermarked preview export are free — you check the exact output (every panel, every size, every language) before you pay a cent. Because of that, purchases are final once delivered, but a defective file is always redelivered at no cost.
Single Export (one-time purchase)
- Before buying, export the free watermarked preview — it is identical to what you'll receive, minus the watermark.
- At purchase your design is frozen: you can re-download the same files anytime, even if you change or delete the project afterwards.
- Because you verified the exact output beforehand and delivery is immediate, the purchase is final once the watermark-free export is delivered.
- Is a delivered file corrupt, or doesn't it match the preview? We redeliver it free of charge — that's a defect, not a change of mind. Mail info@screenshotify.app.
- Changing your design after purchase creates a new design (the purchased one stays available unchanged); exporting the changed design watermark-free requires a new purchase or a subscription.
Immediate access & the EU right of withdrawal
Screenshotify delivers digital content the instant you pay. At checkout you confirm that you want immediate access and you acknowledge that you lose the EU 14-day right of withdrawal once the content is delivered (Single Export) or once you use a paid feature (subscriptions). This consent is recorded at the point of purchase by our payment processor.
Subscriptions — before you've used a paid feature
If you subscribe but have not used any paid feature (watermark-free export, AI translation, or the AI Studio), you still hold your statutory right of withdrawal — email info@screenshotify.app and we'll refund the unused subscription. Because the paid features deliver instantly, this no longer applies the moment you use one.
Subscriptions — once you've used a paid feature
Once you've exported watermark-free, translated, or generated with AI, the service is considered delivered and is therefore non-refundable — except where the law requires otherwise, or where a technical fault on our side prevented you from using what you paid for. In those cases, mail us and we'll make it right. Accidentally renewed without using the new period? Mail us within 7 days and we'll refund it.
Goodwill refunds
Outside the cases above we're not obliged to refund, but we'd rather have happy people than your money on a technicality. If something went wrong — an accidental purchase, a charge you didn't expect — email us and we'll look at it case by case.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime from your Creem customer portal. Your access keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for; we don't pro-rate unused time, and future periods won't bill. Cancelling keeps your designs — you just can't export watermark-free or use AI until you resubscribe. The Single Export never renews, so there's nothing to cancel.
How refunds are processed
All payments go through Creem as Merchant of Record. Approved refunds appear on the same card / method used to pay, usually within 3–5 business days. We don't issue store credit.
Chargebacks
If you'd open a chargeback with your bank, please email us first — it's almost always faster, and because you previewed the exact output before buying, we can resolve genuine issues (like a defective file) directly by redelivering or refunding.
